April in Cape Town always brings a special kind of beauty, and Monique & Ruan's wedding at D'Aria was the perfect reflection of the season. Surrounded by the warm colours of autumn vineyards and the peaceful atmosphere of one of the Cape's most beautiful wedding venues, they celebrated the beginning of a new chapter with their closest family and friends.
From the moment the day began, there was a sense of excitement and joy. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned, allowing the couple to simply enjoy every moment together. Monique looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle, while Ruan's smile said everything as he saw his bride for the first time.
The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, followed by a relaxed celebration filled with laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable moments. D'Aria provided the perfect backdrop, with its beautiful vineyards, elegant architecture, and golden autumn light creating countless opportunities for timeless wedding photographs.
One of my favourite parts of the day was spending time with Monique & Ruan during their couple's session. The soft April sunlight, vineyard landscapes, and quiet moments between them allowed us to create natural, romantic images that truly reflect their love for one another.
As the sun set over the Durbanville hills, guests enjoyed an incredible evening of great food, heartfelt speeches, and a lively dance floor that kept the celebration going well into the night.
